Our team installed the Ez Flow Drainage System to move water from below the ground surface of the crawl space to the SmartSump Sump Pump. Ez Flow is a slotted plastic pipe surrounded by artificial rocks enclosed in a mesh netting. The mesh and rocks act as a filtering agent to prevent sediment from entering the drainpipe. Ez Flow is installed in a trench dug below the footers to collect ground water before it enters the crawl space. It helps keep the crawl space drier!

This allows ground water run-off to flow towards Ez Flow, keeping moisture trapped below and providing a thermal break.
