Our Design Specialist, Jack, knew they would need a sump pump, but after inspecting the large basement and discovering the source of the leak, he suggested 5 of our TripleSafe Sump Pumps combined with our XL Trench Drain in the parking lot. The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System helps keep the basement dry. It is a drainage system that sits above the footing along the wall of the basement. The concrete floor of the basement is jackhammered along the perimeter to allow for installation, then recovered to provide a seamless finish to your basement floor. WaterGuard has a special flange along the back that allows water that seeps through the wall to drain down into the system. It also prevents dirt and debris from the floor surface from getting into this space and clogging it up. Large holes in the back allow water from between the footing/wall joint to enter WaterGuard, before it is all drained into the SmartSump Sump Pump. We were contacted to come take a look at a commercial basement that was leaking. Our Design Specialist made a complete inspection and designed a solution to get the water out and keep it out.

It was determined that a series of drains and sump pumps would be needed outside to keep water out of the basement. The XL TrenchDrain is installed outside around the entire perimeter of the basement area. Five of our TripleSafe Sump Pumps Systems would be used as part of the drainage system, pumping the water away from the foundation of the building. Drain pipes would also be used to direct water from the gutter downspouts directly to the sump pumps. The water will flow directly into the TrenchDrain and TripleSafe Sump Pumps and away from the basement wall, keeping it dry and usable!
