This homeowner called with a flooded basement. Our Design Specialist, Jack, went to visit with her and inspect the basement to determine the best way to dry out the basement and keep it dry.

A hole would need to be cut into the basement floor to install the TripleSafe Sump Pump, featuring 3 different sump pumps and the WaterWatch Alarm. The primary pump is the Zoeller M53 1/3 hp pump. It is very reliable, but during times of heavy rain, it is backed up by the Zoeller M98 1/2 hp pump. This pump will only turn on if the water level in the liner reaches the sensor. Both of these pumps are backed up by the UltraSump with Battery Back-up. This pump remains in stand-by mode unless water the power goes out or if the other 2 pumps happen to fail. The WaterWatch Alarm will notify you if water has reached it's sensor on the lid, letting you know about plumbing leaks in your basement early. The TripleSafe is fed by WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a drainage system that rests just below the floor surface along the walls of the basement. Special flanges on the back allow condensation from the concrete walls to flow into WaterGuard, and holes throughout WaterGuard allow for ground water to be carried to the TripleSafe, where it is all pumped out and away from the home. The walls are lined with CleanSpace Wall, guiding condensation down the wall and into WaterGuard. The SaniDry Sedona dries out the basement and moves up to 300 cubic feet of dry air around the basement every minute, keeping humidity low and the basement dry.

When this homeowner in De Queen called, she was very concerned about her crawl space, and her basement. Moisture in either of these locations can lead to mold and structural problems, so she was eager to resolve her moisture issues. Jack inspected the basement and crawl space, then presented her with a solution to keep both dry and her home structurally sound and healthy.

The first step was installing the TripleSafe Sump Pumps. The three TripleSafes were installed in the lowest points of the crawl space and basement. Each sump pump is fed by either EzFlow in the crawl space, or WaterGuard in the basement. EzFlow sits just below the footers of the walls of the crawl space, filtering the mud from entering, and WaterGuard sits just below floor level along the walls of the basement. EzFlow is backfilled with clean rock and WaterGuard is covered with concrete to be level with the existing floor. The crawl space floor was graded to allow water to flow towards the EzFlow Drainage System. In the basement, the crew installed TrenchDrain. TrenchDrain runs across the entrances to the basement, collecting water runoff and draining into the WaterGuard System. All drainage systems run into a TripleSafe Sump Pump, which discharges water out and away from the home into the lawn. 

Our dimpled Drainage Matting was installed in the crawl space, directing water beneath it towards EzFlow, and the CleanSpace Wall System was installed on basement walls to prevent condensation and allow moisture to drain into WaterGuard. The SunHouse Window Well with Dome Cover was installed to prevent leaks from windows sitting at and below ground level. The SunHouse Window Well helps keep rain out and provides lots of bright natural light in the basement. The water below this home has been eliminated, and the homeowner is thrilled!

This homeowner in De Queen wanted to get rid of the moisture in her crawl space. She called CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas and our Design Specialist, Craigen, went out to inspect her crawl space. Craigen found some areas of concern and they agreed to the CleanSpace Encapsulation System.

Justin and his crew removed debris, then prepped and graded the crawl space. Vents were sealed and the crawl space was insulated with SilverGlo Insulation Panels. These panels are graphite infused and the silver backing reflects heat, helping lower energy costs. The EverLast Door was carefully measured and custom cut on site. Dimpled Drainage Matting was installed to provide a thermal break, and piers were wrapped with Wallie. Wallie is a 12-mil thick liner that will prevent condensation from the masonry piers from entering the crawl space. The bright white CleanSpace Liner was installed to isolate the home from the earth, and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed. The energy star rated pint sized powerhouse removes moisture from the air at a rate of 100 pints per day and easily moves 300 cubic feet of dry air per minute.

This homeowner in De Queen saw our trucks in her neighborhood and decided to call us about her crawl space concerns. Our Design Specialist, Curtis, inspected the crawl space after noting her concerns about moisture after installing new flooring. Curtis made the recommendation for a full encapsulation with CleanSpace, EzFlow Drainage System, the SmartSump with UltraSump, and the SaniDry Sedona.

The first step is to install the SmartSump Sump Pump and UltraSump with battery backup in the lowest point of the crawl space. The UltraSump with battery backup helps keep the crawl space dry in the event the power fails. The crawl space floor is graded and prepped to allow ground water to flow towards the perimeter of the crawl space, where it will drain into EzFlow. The EzFlow Drainage System rests along the wall of the crawl space, just below the footers, and flows into the SmartSump. The SmartSump pumps the water out of the crawl space and drains into the yard away from the home. 

Our dimpled Drainage Matting is carefully installed in the crawl space, providing a thermal break. The dimples allow ground water to flow towards EzFlow, helping to prevent pooling water. Vents are sealed with SilverGlo Vent Seals, preventing outside air from entering the crawl space. The piers are then wrapped with Wallie, our 12-mil thick liner, designed to prevent condensation from entering the crawl space through the masonry. The CleanSpace Liner is carefully installed and secured in the crawl space, isolating the home from the earth. The addition of the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep humidity below 60% completes this encapsulation.
