Job Stories From Hope, AR
Flooded Basement Repaired in Hope AR

Vicki L. of Hope AR was distraught about the flooded basement in her deceased mothers home.  In her conversation with the call center at Crawl Space Solutions of Arkansas, she stated that she had witnessed up to a foot of water in the basement after heavy rains that would sometimes take days to pump out doing it by herself.

Crawl Space Solutions installed  the patented WaterGuard drainage system along the foundation walls and under the concrete floor.  This system is designed to stay clean and free from mud and debris, and comes with a Transferrable Lifetime Warranty.  The walls were covered with ThermalDry Wall material which was to direct any condensation and or wall leakage into the WaterGuard and to better insulate the walls against the cold temperatures we sometimes get in the winter months.

The TripleSafe sump system was installed to pump out the sometimes very large amounts of water that was entering the basement.  This sump system is the most advanced system in the world for residential use and can pump up to 7000 gallons per hour.  It comes with a single 1/3 HP pump that does most of the normal pumping, a 1/2 HP pump in case the first pump can't keep up, and it also comes with it's own UltraSump Battery Backup system which includes, the pump, battery and charging system.  The UltraSump alone can pump up to 12,000 gallons of water on a fully charged battery.

Lastly, the SaniDry XP dehumidification system was added.  This whole basement dehumidifier will control the humidity in the basement to aleviate that damp musty smell and feel that is typical in most basements.

Now Vicki L. is able to sleep throughout the night when that big storm comes.  She no longer has to worry about having to pump water or all those musty smells.  When the first big rain came, she called us to let us know how pleased she was that it all worked just as we told her it would!  She is definitely a fan of the WaterGuard Drainage System, the TripleSafe Sump System, the SaniDry Dehumidification system, and of course, Crawl Space Solutions of Arkansas for bringing it all together for her.

I have some humidity problems in my house. It is a 54 old house that we purchased 9 years ago. The house is on a hill that slopes down from the highway. There were some rotten floor joists in the front of the house that we replaced when we purchased the house. Everything else under the house appears to be solid from what I can tell. I have a landscaper that has suggested that I install some drainage on the front of the house. I also have someone that is coming to spray open cell insulation in my attic. He wants to spray an inch of closed cell foam insulation on the underside of my floor. I have air ducts in my crawlspace. The crawlspace has a thin moisture barrier that was added 8-9 years ago. The ground stays damp, but I haven't noticed any standing water. The crawlspace is vented and the vents remain open all year.
