The CleanSpace encapsulation system completely isolates the home from the earth. The liner is a heavy 20-mil thick material similar to a pool liner. It is manufactured in 7 layers- a blend of high-density polyethylene, low-density polyethylene and two layers of polyester cord reinforcement. It is blue on one side and white on the other. The bright white finished side really brightens a crawl space with the available lighting and allows you to easily see that your crawl space is free of mold, insect, and dirt. The CleanSpace liner is manufactured with an antimicrobial additive called UltraFresh- molded right into the material.

Homeowner was having some renovations done to their home, when a contractor noticed that their crawlspace has high levels of moisture. The contractor suggested they call the experts at crawl space solutions to get a free inspection, we determined the issue and came up with a resolution on how to resolve the moisture and preserve their home. When our system specialist arrived at the customers house, he developed their plan of using the following products to beat the moisture. (1) Smart Sump, (2) Ice Guard (3) Lawnscape outlet (4) CleanSpace with drainage matting. 

When Our technicians arrived at the house, they began by installing the SmartSump- The Smart Sump system is designed just for crawl spaces. Some of its features consist of having a liner and lid that are designed to form a tight seal around the CleanSpace liner.  Also, it has a unique lid design so water from a plumbing leak fills an alarm pocket on the lid first, sounding a WaterWatch alarm. From there the water flows down a special airtight floor drain that lets water down, but damp air cannot come up into your crawl space. 

Now the Ice Guard system allows water to escape from a sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason. Even if the pip outlet is buried under a foot of ice and snow, the water can escape, allowing your sump pump to keep your basement dry. When the discharge pipe thaws, the water will automatically run along its normal route, and no water will escape from the IceGuard.

Lastly the Crew install was our Clean Space encapsulation system- Which is designed to completely isolate your home from the earth. This dramatically reduces the humidity level in the air which, when combined with sealing outside air and dehumidification, will eliminate mold growth and rot from your crawl space and simply make your whole house healthier.
