Our Design Specialist, Jack, met with the homeowner and inspected the crawl space. He then presented the solution to the homeowner, and they agreed to begin the work.

Jordan and his crew got started grading and prepping the crawl space. They custom cut and then installed an EverLast Door, then installed SilverGlo Vent Seals. Our dimpled Drainage Matting was laid to provide a thermal break, and the CleanSpace Liner was installed on top, isolating the home from the earth.

Homeowner Craig B, called the experts here at Crawl Space Solutions of Arkansas to inspect the humidity levels in his crawl space. Craig took advantage of our free inspection with no obligation required. When our System Design Specialist arrived at Craig's residence, it was clear he had high levels of humidity.  Our Design Specialist informed Craig about the dangers of high levels of humidity in a crawl space. Dirt crawl spaces are great places to live, thrive, and reproduce if you're a bug. There is an even temperature, moisture, damp wood, and shelter. Spiders, beetles, centipedes, termites, and all kinds of other insects are found in dirt crawl spaces. Animals such as mice (dead and alive) are commonly found in dirt crawl spaces. In some cases, even rats, snakes and small animals have been found.  For Craig, we installed a few products to reduce the humidity levels of our CleanSpace Liner, SaniDry Sedona, and our SmartSump to get rid of any water that might creep in. 

Our CleanSpace Liner- is carefully cut and installed in sections. Small Holes will be drilled into the crawl space walls approximately 6" below the wood sill plate and every 3" along the wall. Nylon fasteners are installed to permanently secure the CleanSpace liner to the wall. The top edge of the liner is sealed to the walls with a polyurethane sealant. All seams are sealed with special 4" wide sealing tape and/or sealant. The CleanSpace liner is also sealed around other objects, such as pipes, columns, and piers with any combination of sealant or concrete. 

Our Production team is properly trained and are experts at installing, making on the job adjustments as needed to ensure that once the job is done, the homeowner will be satisfied. After the installations are complete the production team will then bring the homeowner to the crawlspace and explain how every product's functions.
