As part of our CleanSpace Encapsulation System, we installed the CleanSpace Liner. One major component of eliminating moisture in any crawl space is a dehumidifier. We install the pint-sized powerhouse, the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. This customer called in stating that he had 2-3 inches of standing water in his newly constructed home. He stated that he had tried several things, but none of the things he tried fixed the problem. It had gotten so bad that he was beginning to see allergy problems and buckling floors in his new home! He called the experts at Crawl Space Solutions of Arkansas to help solve his water issues. 

Our design specialist, Jack, quickly got to work to design the perfect system to put the homeowner's mind at ease. He determined that the best solution would be a full encapsulation, to eliminate moisture in the space entirely. 

Our crew got to work by first installing our dimpled Drainage Matting that allows for better conductivity for the water to get to the perimeter drainage. It is great for crawl space drainage under our thick, 20-mil CleanSpace liner. To ensure moisture is at a minimum, we used vent covers to seal off existing vent holes and installed one of our airtight EverLast doors. Finally, the crew installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier that not only keeps your relative humidity at the ideal level, but it also eliminates damp, musty odors in the space by drying and filtering the air. 

 

The homeowner and the entire family now have much drier crawl space and a healthier home.
