These homeowners in Russellville were informed by their pest control company they had mold in their crawl space. They called the professionals at CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas for an estimate to have their crawl space encapsulated. One of our Design Specialist, Craigen, came out to inspect the crawl space and design a solution to fit their needs.
Mold begins to grow when the relative humidity in the crawl space is at 60%. The goal is to keep relative humidity below 60% to maintain a healthy environment for your family. Justin and his team began by prepping the crawl space, removing all organic material, then grading the space. Vent Seals and the EverLast Door were installed, products designed to last in the environment near the ground. Drainage Matting was installed, allowing water to flow beneath it and away from the surface of the CleanSpace Liner. The Liner is installed to completely isolate your home from the earth, insulating the crawl space and eliminating humidity from the ground water. Humidity in the air is removed with a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, an Energy Star rated powerhouse, capable of removing up to 100 pints of water per day from your crawl space. This dehumidifier keeps the relative humidity of the crawl space at around 55%. The crawl space is now drier, cleaner, and healthier for these homeowners.
Mold can destroy your home and thrives in areas like damp, dark crawl spaces. If you have been told you have mold, or if you suspect you may, don't wait, call CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas today.
At CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas, we want every home to be cleaner, healthier, drier, and more structurally sound. Moisture in your crawl space can cause mold, rot, and unpleasant odors in your home. When this homeowner in Russellville called with moisture concerns in his crawl space, we scheduled his no obligation crawl space inspection with one of our highly trained Design Specialists.
The homeowner chose a full encapsulation and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. The encapsulation process starts with grading and prepping the crawl space, including removing debris. The vents in the crawl space were allowing outside air in, so they were sealed with our SilverGlo Vent Seals. The dimpled Drainage Matting was installed to provide a thermal break, and the CleanSpace Liner completely isolated the home from the earth. The SaniDry dehumidifier will remove up to 100 pints of water per day and move up to 300 cubic feet of dry air around the crawl space, drying out the support structures of the home.
The completed encapsulation gave the homeowner a healthier home, from the ground up! Call 1-501-329-4000 to schedule your crawl space inspection!
