The Drainage Matting is great for crawl space drainage under CleanSpace on concrete or dirt floors, The dimples allow better conductivity for water to get to the perimeter drainage or sump pump located in the lowest spot of the crawlspace. CleanSpace Drainage matting also softens the floor and increases durability.
Customer requested a clean up of their crawlspace. In order to clean up the area, we removed and disposed of the hanging and old insulation. Hanging insulation can make any crawlspace look untidy and in disrepair. We then cleaned any addtional debris in the are and began making the space a clean, healthy, and completely usable space. We added our Drainage Matting, allowing any water to travel underneath the Cleanspace Liner that was laid on top. The drainage matting will help the flow of water, if there is any, as well as adds durability, puncture resistance, and a thermal break.
We installed a Sanidry Sedona to control the humidity in the space. Sealing off and controling the humidity in the space, makes the crawl space healthy, in turning making the home itself healthier as well. This also allows for the space to being a good storage area, if you need additional storage options.
Over time, we have learned that stack effect within the home starts in the crawl space. The air from the crawlspace rises, entering the home, then escaping from the roof. By regulating and keeping the air in the crawl space healthy, it in turn provides healthy air to be filtered into the home itself. A happy, healthy crawl space effects the home in a positive way.
