This customer called in stating that he wanted his crawl space to be drier and wanted the experts at Crawl Space Solutions of Arkansas to come out and do a full inspection of the space.
Solution
Our crew began by removing and disposing of all the old insulation and debris, then sealed off all of the open vent holds with vent covers, to avoid letting humid air into the crawl space. The team then laid down a dimpled Drainage Matting over the floor of the crawlspace, which will help control moisture coming up from the dirt floor. Over the top, our 20-mil CleanSpace liner was laid down seamlessly throughout the crawl space and mechanically fastened to the walls. Finally, the crew installed our SaniDry dehumidifying system, which will keep the home below 55% relative humidity, so mold doesn't stand a chance and dust mites die off!
